Maria by Julep

This is a metallic light pink called "Maria" and is made by Julep. It was applied it two easy coats w/out streaking. I then topped it off with Seche Vite's Fast Dry Top Coat.

Sugar Plum Yum over Anne

So... I decided to add a little flair to "Anne" by Julep by adding "Sugar Plum Yum" by Color Club over top. It is a glitter polish with Purple hexagon  glitters & tiny Green square glitters. I think it looks very nice although the images do not do justice. It was very easy to apply. I did put two coats on with Seche Vite top coat over it. What's pretty cool is that when I dries it has a sweet grape scent
(only cause I can't envision what plum would smell like) LOL.

It is probably the hardest glitter polish I have taken off thus far... So I definitely recommend the foil method!

I think its pretty stylish but, I still can't wait to get those Finger Paints on so.. that'll be next for sure!

Anne by Julep - Review

This is a purple cream polish called "Anne" by Julep. I do like the color but, I do feel that it wasn't easy to work with because it was a tad too thick. It was definitely a FAIL. The only reason I added a second coat was to even out the first one. I have never had any issues with Julep nail polishes & I think this was unusual... having said that I'm pretty sure if I just add a little bit of nail polish thinner it should be fine, which means it still has potential. I'll have to try that next time.

"Trina" by Julep

This color is a shimmery dark purple by Julep called "Trina". I was able to achieve full opacity in just one coat! Application was a breeze. So far all Julep polishes I must give a 9 out of 10. Here are the pictures I took of the color. Some are with a flash & some without.

This is my first time trying Julep polishes. I have to say for my first time trying it... I give it a 9 out of 10. The application was quite easy without any hassle. It was quite opaque in one coat, definitely wearable but, I chose to add a second coat which was unnecessary. I used Seche Vite for base coat & top coat.

Thank You,
~Karina
