In this manicure I decided to use black as a base color. Any black will do. I used Rimmel. I then applied Ares by HITS over top using one coat, which is a Red holographic polish. I think this is absolutely stunning! Feel free to comment below telling me what you think. Also if there is anything in particular you'd like to see up please don't hesitate to ask!

In this manicure I used one coat of "Cafe Pink" by Revlon which was not easy to work with... very streaky while wet. I am still looking for a light pink that does not streak while applying. I applied 2 generous coats & topped it off with "Sparkling" also by Revlon using 1 nice coat but, for the thumbs because they are larger in size they got two coats to make glitter appear well distributed between the nails. I finished it off with Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat. The only reason I used Sparkling to begin with is because for some odd reason I don't think my skin tone looks good with this shade of pink but, after applying the glitter it looked much better.

I decided to layer some colors to create the perfect St. Patty's Day look & this is what I came up with. Starting out with a base coat & working my way on to 1 coat of "Evergreen" by Icing, then 1 coat of "Call You Later" by Sinful Colors, another coat of the Evergreen & 1 final coat of "Holiday Splendor" by Color Club & topped it off with Seche Vite's Fast Dry top coat. I have to say I am loving it! I have to look at it throughout the day because it's so gorgeous! These pictures do not do justice but, come really close. With this polish I took what was left in the existing bottle & added some other colors & some spectraflair to give a special look although I do need to add a bit more spectraflair for my likings. Let me know what you think.
Today I am sporting a dark green glitter polish that is also a jelly. It is called "Evergreen" by Icing. I used two coats... It wasn't that bad to apply... as it has a nice size brush but, if you apply to much it can slide creating higher points on the nail therefore attention to detail and a lite hand is helpful. Let me know what you think.
