"Twinkle Lights" over Holly-Day" by China Glaze

I decided to spice up my Holly-Day polish & show you what "Twinkle Lights" looks like over it. This polish is a glitter in gold, red &, green by China Glaze from the Santa's Little Helper's 2011 Collection. In my opinion it's not half bad but, I'm thinking it may look much better over another color. I would give this polish a 7.

"Holly-Day" - China Glaze

This polish is green in color & called "Holly-Day" by China Glaze from the Santa's Little Helpers Collection of 2011. It is a creme polish & applies in one to two coats. I think it looks quite nicely on my skin tone. I would give this polish a 71/2.

"Trina" by Julep

This color is a shimmery dark purple by Julep called "Trina". I was able to achieve full opacity in just one coat! Application was a breeze. So far all Julep polishes I must give a 9 out of 10. Here are the pictures I took of the color. Some are with a flash & some without.

Black Polish with Spectraflair

This is my very first polish created with all new ingredients. To make this polish I used a bit of SpectraFlair along with about a 1/4 black base & the rest is filled with suspension base which helps the spectraflair suspend within the polish.

I love the way it turned out but, being that I am or at least try to be a perfectionist, in my eyes it still has room for improvement. Not something I will be concerned with right now.

I will say one thing though &, that is that the pictures really do not do justice to the true visual appearance.

This was applied in two coats along with a base & top coat.

"Black Shatter" by OPI over "Beware" by Pure Ice

This look consists of Seche Vite base coat with 3 coats of Beware by Pure Ice topped with Seche Vite top coat & then Black Shatter by OPI with another coat of Seche Vite top coat to top it off.  I like the look... its kinda Rock N' Roll style in my opinion. I have tried the China Glaze crackle & the Sally Hansen one as well. Having said that OPI is the best out of those & as for Sally Hansen crackle version... personally I can not recommend the purchase of them. Let me know what you think of this look.

"Glitter In My Stocking" Nicole by OPI

This polish is Nicole by OPI and the color is called "Glitter In My Stocking" which is part of the Holiday collection this year.  I am not too pleased with the color or application. It takes at least 3 coats to get to this opacity. It chipped in less than 24hrs with Seche Vite base & top coat. Although I will say it may do much better on top of another color. This is not a major fail for me but, still yet a fail.

I give this polish a 6 out of 10 mostly because of the chipping so fast.

China Glaze - Ruby Deer

This one is from the 2010 Christmas Holiday Collection. It is a brightened cherry red & compliments my skin tone quite nicely. These images are of 2 coats each although it did not need two. All two coats did was make it slightly darker. Application was done with ease.

Julep - Drew

Hey there ladies, this is the color I decided to try out today. It's by the brand Julep & the name is Drew. It is a gorgeous Dark Pink.

This is my first time trying Julep polishes. I have to say for my first time trying it... I give it a 9 out of 10. The application was quite easy without any hassle. It was quite opaque in one coat, definitely wearable but, I chose to add a second coat which was unnecessary. I used Seche Vite for base coat & top coat.

Wet n Wild coloricon "Give Me A Price Quote"

This is the new Wet n Wild coloricon polish in "Give Me A Price Quote". It is a lime greenish yellow shredded sparkle polish. I decided to put it over China Glaze's Trendsetter to spice it up a bit. Also using Seche Vite Top Coat over the top. This has a great application & I would give it a 7 out of 10. Although I am new at all of this I am learning, so any encouragement or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
