Green Ocean over Ski Teal We Drop

This look was requested by one of you. If any others would like to see something in particular please don't hesitate to comment below.

In this look I used 2 coats of "Ski Teal We Drop" by OPI which was just fine with one coat but, I will normally always use 2. The application was a breeze... It applied with the greatest of ease, so much that I wish all polish was JUST like this bottle was.
It is a dark teal color and it is believed to be a creme polish.

I then applied one coat of "Green Ocean" by Sinful Colors over top of it just to see what it would look like. And finally topped it off with Seche Vite's Fast Dry Top Coat.

Blaze by Zoya from the Ornate Collection

This is a holographic polish in a nice cool toned maroon / plum red color. It is called "Blaze" by Zoya and is from the 2012 Ornate Holiday Collection. It is a very stunning polish and my images do NOT do justice.  It was applied in two simple coats without any fuss. I then applied one coat of Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat. This polish did not chip during wear time. If you have any questions please feel free to comment below.

Boys 'N' Berries over Creative Fantasy

In this look I started out with 3 coats of "Creative Fantasy" by China Glaze which is a grape purple satin jelly polish. I then applied"Boys 'N' Berries" by Nina Ultra Pro which is a magenta glitter polish. I applied a small amount on the end of the tip and brushed what was still wet towards the cuticle creating a gradient effect and finally sealed it with a gloss finish using Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat.

Hey Sailor Boy by Icing

Today I chose to wear this gorgeous navy blue jelly polish with glitter in it. It is comparable to Deborah Lippmann's "Across the Universe". It is called "Hey Sailor Boy" by Icing. I applied two coats with a top coat of Seche Vite. After a few days I decided I wanted to see what it would look like mattified, so I used Butter London's "Matte Finish". I don't think it looks too shabby as a person who likes mattified polish as well.

Let me know what you think...

What I Wore On New Years Eve!

I was trying to match my outfit n came up with a french manicure with some bling. I used Zoya's Storm with a silver glitter art polish and topped it off with Finger Paint's Santa's Magic & Seche Vite's Fast Dry Top Coat.

What do ya think?

China Glaze's New Collection - Tranzitions

Okay, so China Glaze has a new collection out called "Tranzitions" so I decided to try them out. Unfortunately it was nothing but, a big disappointment this time. There are various colors to choose from but, I picked all of them up. Using their base coat is supposed to change the color of the polish, which it does BUT, you can use any base coat from any company of your choice. (Nice To Have Known That)

The names of the colors are: Altered, Modify Me, Duplicity, Split Perso-nail-ity, Metallic Metamorphosis &, Shape Shifter

They apply in ONE single coat which I thought was great! Then I started working with the top coat. This is where the first disappointment occurred. The results were much LESS opaque than expected. At this point I took some quick pics and decided this product was NOT for me. So I removed the polish which hadn't even full dried (still tacky). I then discovered that every single polish color had stained my once pretty nails!! I was furious because I had just got them all nice n pretty prior to painting.

Sorry China Glaze, you definitely dropped the ball on this one.

Sorry for the late posting.

Happy New Year!
