Twisted by Finger Paints

Here is the first one I decided to wear from the "Special Effects Collection" by Finger Paints is called "Twisted".  It has Orange, Green, & Blue Flakes... possibly even Yellow ones.

I decided to swatch them over a Black polish because Black is not a color but, a contrast. This polish will look wonderful with other colors as well but, will change depending on the color you choose to use.

I used one coat & the more coats you use the more flakes you will get. After I test them all out... I will then put one coat of each on... I bet that will be spectacular!

Sugar Plum Yum over Anne

So... I decided to add a little flair to "Anne" by Julep by adding "Sugar Plum Yum" by Color Club over top. It is a glitter polish with Purple hexagon  glitters & tiny Green square glitters. I think it looks very nice although the images do not do justice. It was very easy to apply. I did put two coats on with Seche Vite top coat over it. What's pretty cool is that when I dries it has a sweet grape scent
(only cause I can't envision what plum would smell like) LOL.

It is probably the hardest glitter polish I have taken off thus far... So I definitely recommend the foil method!

I think its pretty stylish but, I still can't wait to get those Finger Paints on so.. that'll be next for sure!

Finger Paints Special Effects Collection

I finally got the "Special Effects Collection" by Finger Paints which I started to believe I was never gonna get.  See every other Sally's had received theirs except for mine.... this made me uneasy & think that maybe they did get it & ended up selling out & wasn't aware. So I contacted Finger Paints myself via email to find out if in fact they did get them already OR they were on their way.  A nice lady named Mindy was more than happy to help me find out exactly was was going on. Thank you Mindy.  A day later Sally's ended up calling me & letting me know they were finally in! So I rushed down there to buy some beauties. I was in shock & was not expecting them to call me & tell me that.  I had to ask them if they were sure. :o)  So here they are... I will be posting swatches & a review soon.

Anne by Julep - Review

This is a purple cream polish called "Anne" by Julep. I do like the color but, I do feel that it wasn't easy to work with because it was a tad too thick. It was definitely a FAIL. The only reason I added a second coat was to even out the first one. I have never had any issues with Julep nail polishes & I think this was unusual... having said that I'm pretty sure if I just add a little bit of nail polish thinner it should be fine, which means it still has potential. I'll have to try that next time.

Lizard Belly by Glitter Gal

This is a long time request awaiting... Sorry bout that. This is a Dark Green Holo polish. It is called "Lizard Belly" and is made by "Glitter Gal". It was opaque in two coats. I think its a very gorgeous color. The only thing that sucks is, I think they should make larger bottle sizes... which from what I understand may actually be in the works... Unsure though.
